TSM Server Recovery At Remote Site

If I have a tape library at remote site which has a copy of tape pool, and TSM server database and log are mirrored at remote site (and all config files are available), how can I recover TSM server at this remote site?

What you need to do is tell the TSM server at the recovery site that the primary pools and all thier volumes are unavailable for restores.



update stgpool (primary_pool) access=unavailable

update stgpool (copy_pool) access=readonly

update vol "*" access=destroyed wherestgpool=(primary_pool)

update vol "*" access=readonly wherestgpool=(copy_pool)



This should make the copies available and the primaries unavailable.
