Hey All,

Inherited a TSM Server running version 6.3 on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP2. System has SAS RAID6 storage connected to a couple RAID cards. Backups currently happening to disk and then getting copied to tape to retain an offsite copy of the data. We started reaching our maximum usage for assignable drive letters as we were originally advised to keep the volumes under 10TB (the RAID volumes under 10TB, tsm disk storage volumes under 100GB). We're looking at using a very small volume as a sort of container that would allow us to mount several volumes as NTFS Junction Points. Has anyone ran into issues utilizing NTFS Junction Points for fileclass storage?

Do you mean NTFS junction points, or assigning(mounting) the filesystem to a directory as opposed to a drive letter? If the latter, that works fine.
