Hi

In our setup we have IBM CMOD integrated with TSM.
When some data is removed from CMOD before it's expiration date, it makes some entry in TSM (not sure but I think it is that way).

Thereafter if the TSM inventory expiration is run , the object is deleted from TSM even if it has not reached it's expiration date.

In our case the TSM node is set to expire in 0 days which means if I run the inventory expiration today, it would delete all the data that is loaded. We do not want this to ever happen.

What we want to achieve is to somehow find out if TSM maintains the data that is eligible for expiration in some table.
We would then query that table and find out which object is eligible for deletion and then fire the delete object command ourself instead of running the inventory expiration.

Any suggestions/answers?

Thanks
Pankaj.

The Spectrum Protect TLA (Three-Letter Acronym): ISP or something else?
