TSM for Sharepoint (Docave 5)

Hello.
I want to install Docave Server to backup MOSS 2007 in production evironment. Now I'm testing now Docave 5 and I have few question.

- Is there a passibility that the data will backup over the SAN without cacheing on media server (directlyto the TSM-now I do it over IP)?
- How fast the DOCave database grows (with metadata)?

I don't know the answers to any of your questions ..... but I have some of my own!

How did you size your Media Server? Does it no longer require 3x the storage of the SP DB server?

How difficult was it for you to configure your backup policy? Do you have a custom policy or do you protect all the sites the same way?

When you say DocAve database.... do you mean the one on the Media Server?
