-How to use TSM Client for backup TSM DB?

Hi,



TSM has its own method how to backup a DB - there is a whole chapter about various types of DB Backup in the Docs.



Basically - it is done from the server using BACKUP DB command - it has a few parameters, check HELP BACKUP DB.



This command can be issued from the Administrative Web Interface or Administrative Command-line Interface (dsmadmc)

I backup TSM DB to xxxx.dbb by BACKUP DB command.





- Which tool is wildly used for backup TSM database (xxxxx.dbb , dsmserv.opt, dsmserv.dsk,volhist.out, devcnfg.out) ?



Window backup or TSM Client. if TSM Client . howto restore its.
