Hello Everyone,

I am planning to migrate from Old EMC Data Domain to new high end Data Domain.

Steps followed:
1, Replicated all the VTL data from old DataDomain to new DataDomain.

now we have all the data in our new DataDomain.

Steps needs to be performed in TSM:
Check out tapes from old VTL with remove=yes
define new library point it to the device class of old library
disable old library and checkin the tapes from new library?

I am not sure if the above steps works, let me know if i can proceed with the above steps. any help will be appreciated.

Define the new VTL, define the new storagepool, put the new storage pool as the next of the old VTL storagepool and make a migrate. At the end, remove the old storagepool, and put the new one in place of the old one.
