TSM Cluster Disk Backup

Hello everyone,

I have to backup a number of cluster disks in our environment but I am unable to do so (TSM 6.4). I followed the instructions mentioned in this url: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21392988 but still cannot backup the cluster disks.

If one of you could point me in the right direction it would be a great help.

The procedure outlined in the link works - just make sure that:

- you have a dsm.opt that points to the cluster and that it resides there
- you have services for cluster ONLY backups
- you have a separate environment for the cluster disk, i.e., its own cluster IP, its DNS entry, etc.

I am also having the same issue while adding the cluster disk backup to tsm, yes i did all the steps as mentioned in the link,

could you please tell me how check and ensure that the cluster disk added or not ?

it is showing only local disk backup status,

Have you checked that you have what I posted above?

Normal if you are connecting with the option file for the local node. Check moon-buddy`s posts.
