Hi everyone!
Question:
How does TSM know what mmbackup script to pick up? Where is this configured?
From what I understand: TSM server contacts DSMCAD on client > Client initiates backup > passed on to mmbackup > mmbackup performs snapshot and then passes it on to TSM which is then backed up to tape or disk.
We have backup scripts configured < backup1.ksh , backup2.ksh....and so on). How does TSM know which .ksh file to use for a particular backup schedule/policy ?
Normally when tsm connect to client, then client starts a tsm backup. What tells the client to use mmbackup?
