G'morning all!

Recently moved from on-premis local mail server to Office365 (don't just me lol). Of course I haven't been getting my alerts from TSM since then. Our provider does not give us a SMTP relay, at all. I have to use the Office365 SMTP relay.

How do I configure SMTP auth in TSM? Where and how do I use the username, password and authentication method? It's been so long since I set this up, of course I've forgotten all about it. I found this article on alert mails here: http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSGSG7_7.1.7/srv.install/t_oc_inst_email_configure.html but it doesn't cover smtp authentication.

Thanks,

-brian

It appears Spectrum Protect doesn't support SMTP authentication.

You may need to setup your own small email server that can accept anonymous SMTP and can authenticate and relay to Office365.
