TSM 5.4 and Windows 2000 support

Hi all

Anyone aware about support on Windows 2000 server for TSM 5.4 (server and client)???

It seems to work but I heard there is no support !!! only support Windows 2003

TSM 5.4 server is only supported on Microsoft Windows Server 2003

Hi,

I am not sure but I think there is a kind of "grey zone".
TSM BA Client 5.3 is supported on Windows 2000.
And I think that you are allowed to use BA Client 5.3 for use with TSM Server 5.4....

You don't have full functionality (i.e. TOC for Backupsets) but it is working.
I have seen installations made by IBM with 5.3 clients on Windows 2000 and 5.4 server.

TSM 5.4 server will work just fine with 5.3 clients. Any functionality that you require from 5.4 clients will not be available in 5.3 clients.
