Just wondering if anyone has a TS4300, or similar, and has experienced the open button on the front panel of the TS4300 stop working?
We used to just push it and it would unlock just fine. Now we push it and nothing happens, so we have to manually unlock from the web GUI of the tape machine. Then we have to manually run an inventory of the tapes that we're checking in whereas before it was automatic as soon as we shut the IO slot.
Tried reaching out to IBM but they have thus far only said that I don't have a "machine support contract in place." Or something like that, which I'm not sure is true...
Any insights into this one?
