According to the documentation the software has been tested on a Windows 2 node cluster enviorment. We are looking at installing it on our 2 node clustered Windows NAS heads. Does anyone have documentation on how this would be done ? This cluster has 5 different virtual drives.

"HSM for Windows is capable of being installed on the active node of a cluster and managing the cluster resource from there. However HSM for Windows is currently only cluster "tolerant", meaning it can be installed in a cluster, especially on the active node and will work there properly, but, it will not fail over and jobs on the active node cannot run on the standby node.

The major problem at this point is that HSM stores the locals server's name within all filenames, reparse points etc, to prevent double file names. Due to this, a switch to another server is not possible.

This is currently being worked on by development, but Support does not have an estimated availability date for true cluster capable HSM for Windows. For information on when this may become available I would recommend contacting your Marketing Representative.

In the mean time, the installation steps are the same as for a local drive.

Please let me know if this addresses your concerns on this issue, and thank you."
