I have a full library that we regularly have to pull full tapes out of and place on the "shelf" to free up some slots for new scratch tapes.
Recently I have started reclaiming tapes and I've freed up about 140 tapes so far. Co-location is turned on on the pool I'm reclaiming and I'm wondering how bad reclaimation hurts the co-located data.
Is TSM smart enough to try and keep the node data together during reclaimation or do I need to reclaim to another storage pool and migrate back to keep co-location effective?
Thanks.
