So, I can't get into my machine. Every time I try to telnet to it, I get an error saying all the the network ports are in use. Any way I can clear that without direct connecting?

Can you ssh into the server? what about using rconsole (Power4/Power5 with HMC)

There is a limit to the number of ports available but that is normally very high (32768 or so) and very unlikely that all available ports are in use unless something has gone terribly wrong or someone is attempting a DOS attack.

Cannot SSH into it either. I suspect the automatic mount I put in was incorrect and I probably screwed something up. We do not have an HMC so I will have to do a direct serial connect I guess.

Did end up getting this resolved. It was a result of not knowing what I was doing in AIX. I put a mount command into the wrong file. Required a service start from CD while consoled into the back of the machine to fix.
