TDP SQL Backup policy

Hello,

I have quite a big database that contains 7 instances and I would like to backup each instance full once a week (with a different day for each instance) and log each 12 hours (with a different hour for each instance) and save everything for a month.
I've set my policy for:
Vere:60
Verd:1
Rete:30
Reto:60

Does it answer my needs?
How does the "versioning" works with TDP? A full backup in one day and a log backup in the next day will make the full backup be an inactive version?

Any help will be much appreciated!

First, thanks for the quick response.
I've read that but it doesn't seem to answer my question or at least not in a way I understood.
