TDP SAP backup not triggred error=ANS1217E (RC409) Server name not found

when a backup is triggered from SAP GUI --DB13

i meet the same problem in window2008... it works wenll that i set up it in aix env; i am finding the method ....555

I just got this error today. The message makes me confused. After taking time to analyze I found that the 'servername' in the dsm.opt no more reference to servername in dsm.sys. Just change the parameter to match between dsm.opt and dsm.sys. Then everything is working fine.

make sure your dsm.sys is the same under 'api' and client/bin64 as well
for some reason the program may be reading the dsm.sys from an other location other than the DSMI_DIR
