Hi !
I have a question about "TDP for MSSQL"
At the first. MSSQL only have 1 DB : 123.mdf.
I backup it.
Now!
My boss want me restore data from "123.mdf" to a new DB "456.mdf".
When it's success! MSSQL must have 2 DB : 123.mdf & 456.mdf
and both must work.
The GUI only have option "Replace"!

How should I do ?

Thanks very much!

Is the new databse going to be in same server ?

When you select "restore" and right click to the db backup you want to restore, there are three options, you should edit "Restore into" and "relocate" as you need them. If you specify a new database name, TDP automatically creates a new database and restores into that. However, I would firstly back the active database up :)

Thank you! It's work! ^_^
