Quick question. Had a problem with TSM and my tape library. Received the following message:

ANR8356E Incorrect volume AA3252 was mounted instead of

07:01:50 AM volume AA3251 in library LIB1.



This occured over and over until I no longer had any available scratch tapes? I did run an audit on the library and changed the scratch tapes back to scratch tapes....any idea's. Went through 98 scratch tapes.....

All is back to normal but even support is not sure what happend.

update the volumes media access status to read write. when ANR8356E occurs this volumes may be marked "unavailable". first you'll update them to "read write" and then run audit library command...
