Hello, I'm having problems with a system state backup. The backup runs for around 10 - 15 minutes each time and then gives the error 'Invalid file handle passed'.

The log file reports:

12/10/2010 09:35:07 ANS1809W A session with the TSM server has been disconnected. An attempt will be made to reestablish the connection.
12/10/2010 09:35:22 ANS5250E An unexpected error was encountered.

Report how you got this
The server is Windows server 2008 R2 and the TSM version is version 6, release 2

Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this one?

Thanks, Joe

3 things
1. Insure KB940349 is installed
2. Remove c:\adsm.sys folder rerun system state backup only
3. Remove nodes system state filespace definition (del fi systemstate fsid) -then rerun system state by itself.
