Support for LTO6

Hi All,

Does anyone remember the 5.5 patch lvl that introduced support for lto6?

I've been hunting but can't find it.

I don't think there was ever support for LTO 6 on TSM 5.5.

Based on some older threads here, 5.5 didn't get LTO6 support - but I can't remember exactly and a lot of the 5.5 references have been removed.

You could try 5.5.7, the last level released before it went out of support, and see if it's an available drive format...

Thanks Guys,

I know that it did support LTO6 as I was involed with serveral install/upgrades of 5.5 where LTO6 was used..

I just can't quite remember the version where support was introduced, I think it was 5.5.5 or 5.5.6 but as you say most of the doc's have been archived..

Sad really, IBM always used to be the 1 company that you could count on for keeping reference material available..
