Hi,
I'm somewhat familiar with networking, but new to the storage hardware.
I'd really appreciate if someone could point me to the right direction.
I need a simple server box or NAS with 2 or 4 drive bays. Working independent of the clients. With the following features.
* 1st hard drive working non-stop and used as the main storage for about 5 PCs. [Or 2 drives in RAID1 mirroring.]
* A separate drive or two on the storage server that will automatically replicate all the data every evening, from the main storage drive. And stay idle the rest of the time.
Also things like username/passwords with assigned quotas for each user would be really great.
Here's the stuff I was looking at, but none of them state the specific features I'd like, especially scheduled self replication.
