Storage Agent service doesn't start

Hi, all
I have a problem with starting Storage Agent service. It starts and immediatelly stops. Event View shows not error. I read the installation manual of IBM, but there was no such case. What could be the reason?

I'm very newbie of this topic, that's why I don't know what extra information would be useful. So if some information is needed to understand what's the problem, just ask

If you use the CAD (Client Acceptor Deamon), this is normal behavior. The agent will be started bij the CAD. I think you can check it by stopping the CAD and then starting the agent, it wil keep running until you start the CAD again.

Try to start the storage agent in foreground (not by starting the service) . Go to the dsmsta.exe directory and run dsmsta.exe . Look for error messages.

Blast from the past but I had the same issue..it was that the Path was not specified for some reason in the Windows registry
