SQL select Basics

Hi,



when I start a "select " - CMD then I get lot of messages, that I dont want to have. How can I eliminate these lines like "ANR1688I Output for command 'select pct_utilized,....." from the output-file.

Firstly what information are you trying to get?

Where are you trying to get it from and what is the command you are using.

I'm no SQL specialist but I may be able to help.

I know of no way in TSM to choose not to get the annoying header and footer mesage you get when redirecting output to a file.

Use the sherll and some grep commands to edit the file outside TSM.

If on Windowsplatform ..... get a proper command shell Perl,ksh for windows etc.
