Hi,

I've got 2 Spectrum Protect 8.1.5 servers, one running on Linux and the other on AIX.

When I run the SQL query against the table 'dedupstats', I'm getting the following error on both:

Protect: TSM01>select * from dedupstats
ANS8001I Return code 4.

Protect: TSM02>select * from dedupstats
ANS8001I Return code 4.

Has anyone else got the same problem?

Cheers,

Hi marclant,

I've logged a support call to IBM for the issue.

Even when running db2 "select from tsmdb1.dedupstats", I'm getting 0 records found - which is strange given it use to have data in there.

Hi mate,

No APAR as of yet. It seems to only impact if you've previoused generated dedupstats on an earlier version, and then upgraded to 8.1.5

Once I have an APAR number, I'll post it up.

Hi,

Just for clearification; will generate dedup stats work as normal, or was it only the old data that was missing. I can live without old dedupstats info, as long as new i stored correctly.
