snapshot image backup

Hello,

I'm using TSM 6.4.1 and Spectrum protect 7.1 as well but unable to take snapshot image backup through baclient(ANS1258E). so what are the parameter required to set in server and client end. please suggest.



TSM 6.4.1
Environment: RHEL 6

Spectrum protect 7.1
Environment: AIX 7

Did you check dsmerror.log?

The help on ANS1258E says:

ANS1258E The image snapshot operation failed.

Explanation
The process was not able to take a snapshot of the specified volume.
System action
Processing stopped.
User response
Check the error log for any other messages that might indicate a reason for the failure. Try to correct any indicated problems, then try the operation again. If the problem persists, contact IBM technical support for further assistance.
