Setting up NDMP with Legato and Celerra

[FONT='Arial','sans-serif']I am a new user and I am trying to setup Legato and NDMP with a Celerra server. The Legato server is already controlling the robot arm and drives so I am selecting option 2 with the jbconfig command. From there I don't know what options to add to the jbconfig to make the drives able to do backups via ndmp. The following is a copy of my inquire command[/FONT]

Are you configuring a dedicated tape drive for NDMP? If so why? I would suggest going to a non-NDMP device via dump.

All what you need is to download Networker Admin guide and you will find chapter with NDMP instructions. Please do it, and keep me informed if you can not configure it.

You can choose JBCONFIG either with Option 2 or 3. Either way you will need to choose NO for automatic configuration and add additional drive paths. This is assuming that you are configuring the tape library to also perform non-NDMP backups. The each drive the first drive path will be ..\\.\Tape (or something similar) the other path will be to the Celerra which can be obtained after the drives have been zoned and configured to the celerra.
