I know that you can define for a particular file a management class in TSM client dsm.opt file to override the default management class for that node. My question is can you do this for HSM dsm.opt file? Is this the only way to get certain files to different destination pools (i.e disk or tape)?

Can you use filespaces to swap between destination pools in HSM?

I guess you can't change the dsm.opt in the hsm dsm.opt, because when I tried to override the management class it still didn't went to the pool I defined for the node.

its not possible to change management class for different type of information (like INCLUDE bla-bla <MGMTCLASS> in BA client). Only default management class and archive copygroup.
Maybe it will be in future releases ;)
