Sessions opening to 127.0.0.1

Hello,

My problem is the following: Archive backups from a node has a very high failure rate (like %60). Usually one session cannot mount a tape, and freezes in state of MountW, blocking the next backup sessions. When I log in to the server, kill dsmsta and backup processes, the next archive is taken without problems, but then the problem repeats itself.

Here is the dsmerror.log from a server, this error happening all over:

The TCP/IP error is 'A remote host refused an attempted connect operation.' (errno = 79).

I should add that when I issue "dsmc", this node connects to the server without issues and doesn't add any records to dsmerror.log.

There is also sometimes too many sessions when I issue "q sessions" to the storage agent:

I'm using TSM Server 5.3.4 on AIX and Client 5.3.4, Storage Agent 5.3.4 as well.
