select query format

Hello,


I am having trouble with the format of my results when I run a query statement.

For example.


TSM-User> select * from volumes

Results are by volume. I need the results listed in list format. I have two other co-workers that don't have this issue. It seems that it only affects me. One co-worker suggested that when using Putty to connect to the server if the lines are to long that this could affect the format results of your query. Anyone have any ideas?

Use the following parameter in your DSMADMC: -displaymode=TABLE

e.g.: dsmadmc.exe-id=admin -displaymode=table

Hi, one nice possibility is to use the command line of the "Power Administrator for TSM" (www.tsmpoweradmin.com), also in the freeware version, where you can easily control the ouput format of any TSM command over a button (It switches between table or list output). Afterwards you can paste the complete result of your query with another button into the windows clipboard...
