is there specific way to configure SCSI controller for HOTADD SP4VE backup?
Currently i have 4 vmware PVSCSI controllers and here is SCSI Controllers configuration
SCSI Controller 0 -> SCSI(0:0)
SCSI Controller 1 -> SCSI(1:0)
SCSI Controller 2 -> SCSI(2:0)
SCSI Controller 3 -> SCSI(3:0)
SCSI Controller 0 -> SCSI(0:0) - Mounted system disk and remaining controllers are mounted with dummy disk.
I am running many concurrent backup sessions with the option VMMAXPARALLEL 15, VMLIMITPERHOST 10 and VMLIMITPERDATASTORE 10 using HOTADD transport method.
Now what happening is - controller 0 is fully utilized, remaining controllers are Idle. Backup sessions are queuing up, once slot is freed on '0' than get mounted queued vmkds to that free slot.
My aim is to run many parallel sessions with multiple controllers to reduce backup window. How can make second, third and fourth controller get working? Please help
