Everything thems to be ok, all data is stored. In the dsmsched.log he also said, that the incremental backup of r$ is copleted succesfully. But why did i get the error message, that the schedule command failed?

Server is 5.1.5.4 Level (Aix)

Client is 5.1.5.4 (Win2000)

Thanks...

hi,

are you using any object statements in the schedule?

some days ago i've had the same failure. i checked the schedlog too and everything seemed to be ok. the solution was a misleading object. one of the paths i defined in the schedule to be backed up didn't exist however. that's why you get the error.

best regards

three things to check:

- q actlog begint=hh:mm begind=today-x search=nodename

- dsmsched.log

- exclude list is not write (exclude "documents and settings" and winnt\system32\config because this information is backed up in the system objects)

when a user is logged on to the machine you will get the failed because he can't backup the documents and settings\<username>\ntuser.dat

happy new year
