Retention Modifications? VEREXISTS, VERDELETED, RETEXTRA, RETONLY

I sometimes get confused by the how VEREXISTS, VERDELETED, RETEXTRA and RETONLY work so I'm hoping you can tell me if my retention plans for my DEVELOPMENT, QUALITY ASSURANCE and PRODUCTION servers are properly set for what I want to accomplish...

I believe no one can tell you if these are right or wrong.

Policies like these are Business driven, Compliance set, and DR/BCP dictated. Thus, these policies must be discussed with management.

I realize that!!!

As you can see I put the retention in number of months for each management class and I'm just wondering if I put the correct values for what I'm trying to accomplish. I'm not asking if my business compliance policies are good.

As I said, this is an internal decision. Validation is only through discussions.

If you search the forum, I always post my recommendations this way.
