    Hi There

I need to restore TSM 5.5.6.100 from Database backup on to a AIX LPAR built from mksysb.

Will I get all the configuration, like management classes/copy groups etc after I finish the restore ?

What steps I need to do before I restore I client data ?

    Thanks in advance

    Nahamd

Yes - You get all the management classes etc as they are in the database.
You need to restore latest TSM DB backup, then either mark primary tapes as destroyed (the DR script does this) and put the copy tapes into library.
Or put the primary tapes into your DR library, you can restore client from either primary/copy tape but they need to be read/write.
