Restore TSM Tape

Hi,

Could be possible restore the data directly that I see in a tape?
When I do the command :
q content (name of volume)

I can see a lot of files that I can't restore with the client or I don't know How I have to do to restore in the client. It's possible to make a restore directly with this information?
If it's possible , How I can do?

You need to restore using the client's (node) environment that has data stored on the tape. You cannot restore from the TSM server.

Also, depending on how you have configured the TSM environment, a single tape can hold data from multiple nodes.

In other words, you need a working TSM environment.

Having said this, Google for a third party tape data reader software that may be able to read and recover the data. But personally, I would not go there.
