Restore SQL DB from another server?

Hello guys ,
i created an SQL restore server so i could perform restore not from production.

Usually what i do normally on regular restore , is just change the node name in dsm.opt file to the one i want to restore.

With the SQL , this does not work , even though i change the nodename in opt file , in the DP4SQL m i still see the local server.

I would appreciate any tips
