Hi,
this is my first "big" Directory Container pool implementation so I may need some tips from you.
A three servers shared 5PB PT7650 must be replaced with a Hitachi G370 storage, each server will have its own space based on occupancy and a "pessimistic" 30% dedup+compression ratio.
Lpar profile for three servers were upgraded and ISP structures (DB, LOG, DBBACKUP filesystems) too, all based on AIX BluePrint.
On the first server we added LUN from G370 (30TB each), made VGs,LVs and JFS2 filesystems (commands from BP, manual configuration) and defined a local and a replica directory container pool.
Today I got first error (ANR3687E) during a SAP HANA differential backup (about 1TB) so I doubled CONTAINERRESOURCETIMEOUT (from 180 to 360).
So I am here to ask if there are some default options value I should check/change for backup on DC and if there are some daily "housekeeping" operations to do (we will PROTECT STGPOOL just the replica pool) as I think BP automatic configuration would change some options and define some administrative schedules.
