Removing Archive tape from 3494

What is the best way to eject archive tapes from a 3494 library?

You can check the tapes out of the library the usual way, with the checkout command. Or if these are taking up space in the library, you can use the move media command and it will check out the tapes and update them with a overflow location of your choice.
