Hi,

I'm on the lookout for some technical storage networking books and am wondering what people recommend. I'm interested primarily in FC and ISCSI, but FCOE/CEE type stuff would be a bonus.

One of the ones that looks most suitable to me is "IP SANS: An Introduction to ISCSI, IFCP, and FCIP Storage Area Networks" by Tom Clark. My main doubt is its from 2001 but the iscsi stuff in it is apparently correct even though it was written before the standard was ratified. It doesn't cover FCOE though, just FCIP etc.

Any recommendations for me?

Thanks!

No I'm not looking for entry level - want the gory details! So they might be suitable. Have you come across the one I mentioned?

Can't say I have, but I've been looking at the more recent publications. I prefer more bleeding-edge tomes, 2001 is just too long ago! I guess the material would still be relevant, but it's strange he hasn't brought out an updated version...
