Is there any way to force a purge of activity log entries? I have had a disk in a disk pool go bad and have had what appears to be seriously large amounts of messages from retries go into the activity log (not sure how many but the database grew by 300MB overnight ....)
Currently, nothing is going into the activity log as far as I can tell, and I suspect that it must be due to the large amount of data there.
I gather that the purge of activity log entries is normally initiated automatically just after midnight and purges things older than the 'set actlogretention' period.
If I set actlogretention to 1 day, is there any way of forcing the purge now, or will I have to wait for the next automatic purge?
