ORA-27211: Failed to load Media Management Library

Please help.



I have problem with RMAN backup after upgrading from Oracle 8.1.7 to Oracle 9.2.6.0.



We also upgraded the OS from AIX 4.3 to AIX5.2 ml 5.



As a result of these changes, I upgrade the TDP to 64bit. Running the RMAN script I have the error:

Recovery Manager complete.





I did a relink of the libobk64.a library and set LD_LIBRARY_PATH & LIBPATH set to $ORACLE_HOME/lib



Please could someone assist, additional information given below.



Platform : AIX5.2 ml 5

TSM server V5.2.2

TDP V 5.2.1

Oracle 9.2.6.0

sbttest a -libname /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/oracle/bin64/libobk64.a



/usr/tivoli/tsm/client/oracle/bin64/libobk64.a could not be loaded. Check that it is installed

properly, and that LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable

(or its equivalent on your platform) includes the directory

where this file can be found. Here is some additional

information on the cause of this error:

0509-026 System error: Cannot run a file that does not have a valid format.



I have the following environment variables set for oracle user



LD_LIBRARY_PATH & LIBPATH set to $ORACLE_HOME/lib
