Hello,

We have a windows TSM server with a LTO 3576 tape library. A CE was out today to add a
expansion to the library. Since I am not familar with TSM windows environment and only have experience with AIX environments I have a few questions. First, how can I see the new available slots. I have tried NTUTIL.exe and used option 8 for library mode, then option 10 ( return library inventory ) but get a error
( error execute_command_return_lib_inventory device is closed ). Is there other ways to see if I am able to locate the new slots from the new frame ? is there some configuration needed first ? Ive also tried show slots libraryname , but that only shows current slots

Try ../console/tsmdlst.exe

If it's not there, go into Device Manager and fiddle.

Then recreate libraries, drives and paths in TSM.

I think you can visit library's web gui from your browser by entering its ip address.
