Hi,
We are in the process of testing a local restore of a backupset generated at our TSM production server (4.2). The server is Windows NT 4.0 and TSM client v4.2.1. There is an IBM 3570 tape library connected locally, which is perfectly visible in the OS.
When using the GUI client and selecting 'restore - backupset - local', it prompts for the location. I pull down the menu and select '3570', but we can't find what to put in the 'device name' box. Consequently it returns an error and we can't get any further.
Does anyone have a suggestion on what to fill in? Or perhaps an URL which holds the answer? Any support is welcome and greatly appreciated.
