Receive the following error:

BKI1203E: Not enough sessions available (4 required and 0 available).

I have the following set in my init.utl file:

MAX_SESSIONS 4

SESSIONS 2

No matter what I do with the settings in the Utl file.. I always get 0 available. Does anyone know where else these settings could be?

What is the number of sessions allowed for the node? (q node f=d)

when do you get this error?

Can you try the command
backint -p init.utl -f inquire

and show the output. You can get 0 sessions available if there is a misconfiguration with the for example the management classes. The above command should show that.

Yes. there was a misconfiguration on the management class. Now a new error has surfaced. It appears that the backup is looking for a diskpool that does not exsist:

ANR0520W Transaction failed for session 6709 for node
******** (TDP R3 WINx64) - storage pool DISKPOOL is not
defined.
ANR0403I Session 6709 ended for node IMCNJSAPDS01_SAP (TDP R3
WINx64).

I am not sure why it is looking for this storage pool. I have check the Management class and it is pointing to a different storage pool.

Any ideas?

What is the management class mentioned in your init<SID>.utl file?

Perhaps the only the backup mgmt class was adjusted.
The backups made with TDP for MySAP are archives

Q copygroup X X type=archive f=d
