not able to connect to webclient gui with "webports" option in dsm.sys file

Hi Team,

We access the TSM Web client of various aix tsm client nodes via Landing servers. ( windows workstations from which we access webclient via browser )

between these landing servers and tsm clients there are no firewalls.

the dsm.sys on the tsm client nodes have the following entires

httpport 1581
webports 1582 1583

however when we try to access the web client ( http://<tsmclient ip>:1581 ), the conection times out.

Only when we remove the webports option , we are able to access the webclient .

Can you please advise what is wrong in my config ??.. Am i missing anything ??

You only really need "webports" if you are going through a firewall. It's possible that 1582 and 1583 are used by something else. By removing the option, CAD uses a random port instead.

If it works well without the option, then just leave it out.
