Node password

Hi all,

Itseems, the password expired for the node and am unable to update the password for the node on TSM server or on the client:

I get always authentication failure. please assist how to update the node password?

So that we know what the password is.
On the TSM/Spectrum Protect Server issue: update node node_name new_pwd

On the TSM/Spectrum Prtoect B/A Client, issue: dsmc q fi
We should be prompted for an id and password.
Log out of the client, re-issue dsmc q fi we should not be prompted for a password.

NOTE: In the dsm.sys or dsm.opt should have the following parameter passwordaccess generate .
Do suggest to stop/restart the schedule service/daemon.

It seems there exists dsmopt.lock file? can i delete it ?
I have successfully updated on the tsm server. Now i can connect to it. Thanks
