New to tivoli

OS=AIX 6.1.0.4 Tivoli Storage Manager Extended Ed 6.2.
I configured the db and logs, instance manually. Everything is up and running. I have installed the admincenetr on a windows box. I am trying to add a server connection. Everything I try in the way of userid and password I get: "ANRW0121E: Your ID or password is not valid for this server" Can anyone help with directions on how to properly do this. I am new to TSM.

The user id and password that you are using is it register on the TSM Server?

If not, from the TSM Server Command Line issue:
reg admin admin_id admin_pwd
grant authority admin_id class=system

the default Administrator is admin, pw=admin
