Hi,
we are in a migration project from TSM to Networker. Backend is a DD9500 and we use client direct.
I don´t understand why the incremental backup with networker runs for one share on our fileserver over 10h. TSM needs for the same backup only 3 hours.
Both backups are client backups over gigabit network.
I thought networker is faster as the normal TSM incremental backup.
The client have enough ressources to perform the backup. The cores are used lower 20% and the network have a maximum use of 15%. The networker backup have a maximum of 20-30 mb/sec.
Are there any ideas to bring the backup to a higher traffic?
