Network problem on ibm p6 520

Hi All,

i'm facing an issue related with my san switch and p520 connectivity, the AIX System lost communication with the san switch, an temporarily solution was done by software moving the network point to another port on the system.

Any help i will appreciate

What you mean about "lost communication with the san switch" - Does this mean that you have only dropped packets or somethisng else?
If it is brocade sw try this
portstatsclear PORT
where PORT - physical port on switch where your server is connected.
>> connect fc cable to server start cfgmgr command on lpar, than have this fc adapter.

on fc switch run command
portstatsshow PORT
where PORT - physical port on switch where your server is connected.
check param - er_enc_out, er_bad_os if them more than 0 that indicate that your cable or hba need to be optical cleared or changed.
