Oh keepers of the secret knowledge,



We have been running tsm 5.1 on netware 5.1 sp3 for months with no problems at all. Over the weekend Netware was upgraded to sp5. Lo and behold, the backups are not working. They just sit and timeout.



This is viewed, naturally, as a tsm problem. Any ideas where to begin from this side to troubleshoot. I'm not finding anything useful in the logs, except that even though the backups are running for 8-10 hours (without actually backing anything up), they are only using about an hour of processing time. Possibly a problem in the tsa's?



Any help appreciated.

I usually have this problem after applying service packs!

Try and obtain the original tsa500.nlm, smdr.nlm and if necessary tsands.nlm. Failing that obtain the latest tsa updates from the Novell web site.
