Netware restore problem with compressed data

Hi!



We have some ugly problems with restore data to Netware 6. We backed up data from Netware 5.1 server - from compressed volume. Now we have to change this server to another one (hardware and op.system too). The new server is Netware 6 - with non compressed volume - and the only way to get data back is restore from TSM. But it doesn't work, the dsmerror.log says ANS1301E Server detected system error / and TSA600.NLM says: An attempt was made to put compressed data on a non-compressed volume.

Can we make it somehow?

Just simply enable compression on this NW6 volume. If it is a NSS volume use

NW6NSS2c patch which fixes a lot of compression problems on NSS volumes.
